There’s a smell of sea salt in the air – the Rostock region impresses visitors with its direct location on the Baltic Sea and its wonderful Baltic seaside resorts. Fine sandy beaches alternating with cliffs are a feature of the landscape. In total, there are 9 seaside resorts in the conference region of Rostock: Warnemünde, Hohe Düne, Markgrafenheide, Graal-Müritz, Diedrichshagen, Nienhagen, Heiligendamm, Kühlungsborn and Rerik.
